Rotary Club of Farnborough is part of District 1140 which covers South and South West of Central London.
The District brings together the 49 Rotary Clubs in six Greater London Boroughs and neighbouring parts of Surrey and Hampshire to develop fellowship and service opportunities.

The Club of Farnborough is organised into 5 committees which is overseen by the Club Council comprising of the Chairman of the 5 committees plus the Club President, Treasurer, and Secretary who meet once a month.
Club Members pay an annual subscription of approx £100.
The cost of the weekly lunch is currently £12.00 for a 2 course lunch plus coffee
All Rotary members are assigned to one of our committees. This requires Rotarians to devote some of their time, energy, and skills to particular projects which serve the community.
The Committees are:
Community Service: Responsible for projects serving the local community.
Vocational and Youth Service: Responsible for promoting Rotary “ideals of service” by contact with schools and businesses on projects concerning social problems.
International / Foundation: Responsible for disaster relief projects and projects to help eradicate ill-health and deprivation in other parts of the world.
Club Service: Responsible for good housekeeping of the club, membership issues, programme of meetings, and social events.
Club Public Relations Committee: Responsible for providing the public with information about Rotary and promote the club's service projects and activities.
These committees usually meet during the evening once a month.
The Club is always happy to welcome new members. If you feel that you would like to devote some of your time and energy, make new friends, and get involved then please do not hesitate to contact us.
The Inner Wheel Club of Farnborough:
Inner Wheel is one of the largest voluntary organisations for women in the world today, formed to complement and support Rotary Clubs and offer the hand of friendship worldwide.
Clubs raise money individually and personally for charities of their choice. The membership is made up of female relatives and female partners of past and present Rotarians. The Farnborough Inner Wheel is an active part of our organisation.
As with Rotary, Inner Wheel has a structure at district, national and international level.
The Rotaract Club of Hart and Rushmoor:
Rotaract Club of Hart and Rushmoor is sponsored by the Rotary clubs of Farnborough, Fleet and Rushmoor as a fun, dynamic and unique club for people aged 18-30, offering a wide range of activities that will enable members to try something new, whilst having a great time and meeting others.
Rotaract offers a wide choice of social activities, actively supports the local community, raises money for charity and gives members the opportunity to develop their personal skills and gain new life experiences in the UK and abroad.
Rotaract is broadly based upon the programmes of Rotary and has a similar structure with local, district and national websites.
Interact:
Interact is Rotary International's service club for young people ages 14-18. The Oak Farm Interact club is sponsored by the Rotary clubs of Farnborough, Aldershot, Rushmoor and Blackwater Valley which provide support and guidance but, importantly, Interact clubs are self-governing and self-supporting.
The membership base can be drawn from the student body of a single school or from two or more schools from the same community.
Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two service projects, one a 'home' project to benefit their school or local community, and one an 'away' project to benefit people abroad and to further international understanding and goodwill.
